Nagaland Bamboo Resource Center Complex, 6th Mile, Dimapur What was once a sugar mill at 6th mile Dimapur, Nagaland. India, is now a 28.5 acres of land housing the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency that establish in 2005 the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Center Complex. Visitors to the center will walk in the shade of many varieties of bamboo most of which are mature plants from all over India and other countries of the world including Japan, Taiwan and China. The Centre develops the plantation and regeneration of the bamboo as well as development of the bamboo based products.
Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar is one of the Model Zoological Parks in India. It was initially granted recognition as a “mini” Zoo by Central Zoo Authority (CZA).
