Triple Falls

Triple Falls are located in the huge city of Dimapur in Nagaland. They are particularly located in Seithekima Village, these three beautiful and glistening streams cascade from a height of 280 ft into a natural pool making the entire view stunning. The falls and the adjacent areas are well maintained by the tourism department of Nagaland with natural blooms. The heart warming waterfalls are not only for sightseeing but they also offer trekking opportunity as well. The triple falls give a wonderful view to the tourists and it is indeed one of the best places to visit in Dimapur, Nagaland.

Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre

Nagaland Bamboo Resource Center Complex, 6th Mile, Dimapur What was once a sugar mill at 6th mile Dimapur, Nagaland. India, is now a 28.5 acres of land housing the Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency that establish in 2005 the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Center Complex. Visitors to the center will walk in the shade of many varieties of bamboo most of which are mature plants from all over India and other countries of the world including Japan, Taiwan and China. The Centre develops the plantation and regeneration of the bamboo as well as development of the bamboo based products.

Nagaland Zoological Park

Nagaland Zoological Park, Rangapahar is one of the Model Zoological Parks in India. It was initially granted recognition as a “mini” Zoo by Central Zoo Authority (CZA). Presently the Zoological Park is recognized as a Medium Zoo by the Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi.The Zoological Park has been attracting more and more number of visitors every year after it was opened to public. 

Hong Kong Market

The Hong Kong Market in Dimapur came up in the early 80s. It was started by tibetan traders and a few local young people. Most if the goods sold here are from Bangkok or China. The market was known throughout the North East as the latest styles were available. The advent of net marketing has taken a toll on the market. Most of the tibetan traders have migrated to other countries.

Dzukou Valley

The valley of Flower of Northeast This valley is well known for its natural environment, seasonal flowers and flora & fauna. It is situated at an altitude of 2452 m above sea level. The valley is famous for its wide range of flowers in every season but the most famous one is the Dzüko Lily, and it is found only in this valley.

Kachari Ruins

Kachari Ruins or The Dimasa Kachari Ruins is located in the town of Dimapur in Nagaland. The ruins are a series of mushroom domed pillars that were created by the Dimasa Kachari Kingdoms that ruled before the Ahom invasion during the 13th century. The purpose and origin of the pillars are mysterious; few of the pillars stand in full glory while others are crumbled down.

Nagaland Science Centre, the first of its kind in the state, has been set up at a vantage location of Dimapur behind the Naga Shopping Arcade over an area of 3 acres.It communicates science and technology to the people in an enjoyable way with the primary objective of developing a scientific temper in the society and promoting creative learning of science in schools and colleges.
